Our teen group is a relaxed, low-pressure space for neurodivergent young people. Lots of our teens are tired after school, so we keep sessions calm and predictable.

What a session looks like
We open with a check-in around the table, where teens are free to doodle or fidget. Then we talk through one real social situation together. The rest of the session goes to a shared creative project or game that the group builds together over the term, with music or quiet as they choose. Teens have to plan, share ideas and solve problems as a team to get it finished, and the payoff is something they reach together, like hunting down a hidden treasure or prize inside the game they've made. We close with feedback on how the project and the group went.
